Bids for Challenge 2011, 2012, 2013
Wildrose Rodeo Association is now accepting bids for the 2011, 2012, 2013 Finals. Bids to be into the WRA office by August 15, 2010. If you have any questions please contact the WRA office or Glen Nash @ 780-621-3464.
RULE CHANGES
Local Entries
A $75.00 local entry card for three rodeos may be bought, if you choose to carry on, a full membership at regular price can be bought with your points that you have accumulated to count.
Junior Age
Junior member means a person 16 years or younger as of December 31 midnight of the previous year, except Junior Barrel Racing which is 15 years or younger as of December 31 midnight of the previous year.
Calf Size
Calves may be up to 250 pounds and should be uniform in size with overweight up to the discretion of the event director.
Lap rule
Contestants or helpers will be fined $25.00 per lap or blowing a horse out in a performance or slack. Only contestants in the event that is on will be allowed in arena on a horse. This also means no riding horse in or out of box. If animal is not ready contestant may walk horse around if acting up.
Team Roping rule
If one team roper turns out, the roper at the rodeo pays his half of the entry fee; the absent roper pays the turnout fine. The roper who is entered at the rodeo may pick-up another partner who can be any WRA member in good standings with a card that is not already entered in the team roping. In case of a medical the absent partner pays administration fees only with proper notification to the WRA office. Picked up partner pays his share of the entry fees, points do not count for the picked up partner.

Mark out rule in Novice Horse Riding will be enforced.
JrB
Junior Bulls will be drawn for by animal name or number at the rodeo same time as the timed event cattle.
